“Pixies and Faeries” ~ A 5-day summer program in which GPA girls, ages 6-12, created their own faerie characters, enjoyed art projects, and delighted in group dances! They performed at Zilker Botanical Gardens the following weekend!
“Animal Advocates” ~ a 5-day summer program during which GPA girls, ages 8-14, learned about the needs of animals and how to advocate for animals here in Austin.
Private tours and interviews were arranged with specialists from Divine Canines, Austin Pets Alive, and Austin Nature Center.
The girls investigated why these local leaders chose this work, how they prepare/study for it, and how they manage their teams & care for their animals.
